There are lots of new and exciting things coming for TACO in 2013! I look forward to sharing that information with all of you! ore I hope to have a date set for Spring Day within the next month, please check back soon for that information along with other information about TACO and possible fundraising ideas! We are all looking forward to improving TACO even more in 2013! Also, please take a look at our "Meet the Horses" page along with our 2012 Return to the Farm Spring Day photo gallery! Photos from 2012 Summer Camp and 2012 Return to the Farm Fall Day will be coming shortly. I apologize for the delay- it takes a while to go through all of the photos and upload them. Wishing you all a Happy New Year! I know many of you remember Doolittle from camp. He was such an important part of camp and always a favorite. He always carried our cerebral palsy campers double and was the highlight of camp for a lot of campers.
I am sad to say that on Friday, July 13, 2012, we laid Doolittle to rest. He was diagnosed with cancer in February 2012 and despite all of our efforts, our vets efforts, and his efforts to fight it, in the end, the best decision for him was to lay him to rest. We were able to take one last picture with our campers and Doolittle before he was laid to rest. Doolittle will always be remembered by all of the campers, parents, and volunteers of TACO. He was a very special pony to all of us. He is now watching over all of our TACO campers, past and present, living pain free and running with his old buddies. Camper Applications are CLOSED! Applications were due by Friday, October 5. I will not be accepting any late applications!
