Entertainment

At the end of each day, campers are gathered in one area and provided with a
snack during the entertainment. Our entertainment in the past has been
motorcycle sidecar rides, roping demonstrations, Orange County Sheriff's Office
K9 Demonstration, Orange Volunteer Fire Company  Demonstrations, Mini ponies, magic and juggling acts, and even pony cart rides.
We had a fantastic entertainment for our 2013 Fall Day! Doug Edwards, Jeff
Rankin, and Fred Wilson came to Elmwood with their quarter horses to give us a
cattle working demonstration. Doug lost his arm as a young child in farming
accident, as you can see in the video below- his horse is use to everything
being done by Doug with only one arm! Jeff has Cerebral Palsy. He started riding
and is now working cattle, he went thorough a number of horses to find the right
one for him. These three gentleman put a lot of work into coming to Elmwood for
our campers; including bringing 3 cows and 4 horses over! It was a delight
watching them work and being able to ride with them. We look forward to many
more events with them in the future. Below is a video of their demonstration.
