2024 Thursday Camp
On Thursday, our last day of the year, campers got to show off all of their skills at their horse show! We played musical cones, had a few races, and played egg and spoon.
In group 3, we had a spur-of-the-moment idea and invited the Orange County Sheriff's Office to participate in our race!
Deputy Southard and Aiden on Zip Ty took first place twice.
Captain Seal and Karma on Delilah took first place once.
Sheriff Smith and Genesee on Kitty came in a close second.
Lt McMaster and Laylay on Grey Ghost brought up the rear.
This was a great spur-of-the-moment idea, and we hope to make an annual tradition at our horse show!
During arts and crafts, assembled their wind chimes, sun catchers, and worked on some gifts for our donors!
Campers finished out station 3 with bubbles and rec.
After our horse show, we had an awards ceremony, pizza party, piñata's, and ice cream!
We'd like to thank St Thomas Episcopal Church and Christ Anglican Church for donating the watermelon for the day!
There will be a MUCH lager post coming soon with additional details on our last day of camp!
