The 4-H Therapeutic Adventure Camp of Orange is a therapeutic riding camp for children with disabilities in Orange County. Campers must be ages 9 to 19 and have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). We serve children with a wide range of disabilities including, but not limited to Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, and Intellectual Disabilities.
We have three stations for campers to participate in including; arts and crafts, therapeutic riding, and station three which consist of a variety of activities. A daily snack and entertainment are also provided to all campers and volunteers. We offer volunteer positions for all areas, so even if you are not comfortable around horses, there is a volunteer spot for you!
